A Slice of Ginger
to
spice up your day
Before my books were published,
I boosted my writing morale by writing humor columns for
the local newspaper. I got paid zilch, but my agent later
told me I was building a fan base! I haven't written a
column in two years, but last week I was introduced to a
woman whose first comment was, "I loved reading your
columns." She's not the first to say that and I hope she
won't be the last. It's pure joy when a stranger tells me
they enjoy reading what I write. While I await the sale of
another book, I offer you a slice of my past.
